Affectionately donned, The First Lady of Urban Self-Help, Cassandra Mack, MSW is an author, entrepreneur, life coach and training facilitator who is on a mission to empower others to succeed in their careers, relationships and lives. A social worker by training, Cassandra Mack, bridges her clinical skills and her vast experience at diverse levels within the human services from the front lines to a mid-level management, to equip individuals and organizations, with practical tools to develop to their fullest potential and rise above the inner roadblocks that hold them back.
Cassandra Mack is the CVO of Strategies for Empowered Living Inc., a personal development company that offers workshops, coaching programs and resources to help people accelerate their path to success and develop personal mastery over their own lives.
Cassandra is also the founder of, Grab A Girlfriend and Go, an initiative to bring women together to take time for self and create meaningful connections with other women through innovative workshops, online communities, impactful coaching programs and themed events.
Cassandra has written and published more than 10 books that are widely utilized in the health and human services, women’s organizations, churches and programs that serve youth. Cassandra received her BA from Brooklyn College and her MSW from the Hunter College School of Social work.
