SOLANGE RELEASES TWO VISUALS ACCOMPANYING ALBUM A SEAT AT THE TABLE

 A Seat at the Table, an album written and performed by Solange Knowles, and co-executive produced alongside Raphael Saadiq, has been released globally on September 30th, 2016 via Saint Records / Columbia. The album, which is currently sitting at  #1 on iTunes US Overall Chart and #1 on iTunes R&B/Soul genre charts, is available digitally everywhere. The pre-order for the physical album is live now with cd formats available on November 18th and the Double Vinyl LP available on December 9th.

Released were two stunning visuals accompanying the album: “Cranes in the Sky” and the video “Don’t Touch My Hair” ft. Sampha. Both visual properties were directed by Solange Knowles, and her husband, Alan Ferguson and produced by Eli Cane. Art and Creative Direction for “Cranes in the Sky” video by Solange Knowles and Carlota Guerrero, with Arthur Jafa and Alan Ferguson serving as the Directors of Photography; Arthur Jafa served as Director of Photography on “Don’t Touch My Hair” ft. Sampha. The two videos were both edited by Solange Knowles with Russell Santos on “Cranes In the Sky” and Cami Starkman on “Don’t Touch My Hair” ft. Sampha.

Solange announced the album on Monday, September 26th to 86 fans who signed up for her new website www.solangemusic.com by mailing them a hardcover poetry book of lyrics and photos also entitled A Seat at The Table. Download a digital version of A Seat At The Table book here: http://www.solangemusic.com/digitalbook/. Solange celebrated the release of her album with an intimate event at the Under Ground Museum in Los Angeles for fans in which they literally joined Solange for a seat at the table. Fans were able to listen to the music in real time with Solange.
