One Solution Partners With AT&T To Launch Dream In Black The HBCU Edition

One Solution, the branded solution division of Urban One, and AT&T, the world’s largest communication company, are committed to celebrating and recognizing the rich culture, tradition, and impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities known as HBCUs. One Solution and AT&T have partnered on the #DreamInBlack campaign showcasing the immense impact HBCUs have on black culture, pride, and personal connections. The cross-media digital content kicked off on Thursday, October 18, 2018 and will run until Friday, November 9, 2018.

One Solution will serve as the official media partner for #DreamInBlack powered by AT&T, which will feature several engaging initiatives including the HBCUs who bring a 2.0 “Level Up” challenge.  Platinum-selling powerhouse Ciara has challenged consumers to “Level Up” in the ultimate dance challenge contest. The goal is to call out a friend, rival school, fraternity/sorority or family member to “Level Up”  to win an opportunity to power their possibilities and dreams with a $5,000.00 award while raising awareness of their favorite HBCUs. Participants can submit dance variations and creative expressions of “Level Up” via video up until the deadline, Friday, November 9, 2018.

Other initiatives include: “HBCULove,” powered by #DreamInBlack offering consumers the ability to test their HBCU knowledge celebrating culture and showcasing the impact and love of HBCUs. Encouraging #DreamInBlack power of possibilities, the HBCULove Tour will celebrate the black college tailgate experience, taking place at SpelHouse and Celebration Bowl events in Atlanta this fall. On-site activations will include AT&T Lounge outfitted with an interactive photo-booth and branded experiences.

All challenges and experiences will be amplified via One Solution’s multimedia and culturally driven portfolio: GlobalGrind.com, HelloBeautiful, and MadameNoire platforms; Reach and Radio One digital and radio platforms, and TVOne as an advertising destination for everything Black culture.
