Let Happiness Be Your Truth!! – Daily Word March 10, 2016

By Ash Cash

Happy #ThrowbackThursday my joyous livers of life! Welcome to the day that you continue to be, instead of just always striving! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to being happy! John Lennon once told an interesting story about life…. When he was 5 years old, his mother always told him that happiness was the key to life. When he went to school, his teacher asked him what he wanted to be when he grew up. He wrote down ‘happy’. The teacher told him he didn’t understand the assignment, and he told the teacher that she didn’t understand life…. Whether you realize it or not the reason why you do what you do is because you are in search of happiness! While on that search, we MUST NOT miss out on just being…. It is imperative that while on your journey for bigger and better things that you enjoy and take advantage of everything that you already have! Happiness is a journey not a destination! Happiness is also a choice and something that we need to constantly nourish! As Elizabeth Gilbert once said “Happiness is the consequence of personal effort. You fight for it, strive for it, insist upon it, and sometimes even travel around the world looking for it. You have to participate relentlessly in the manifestations of your own blessings. And once you have achieved a state of happiness, you must never become lax about maintaining it. You must make a mighty effort to keep swimming upward into that happiness forever, to stay afloat on top of it.” Be happy and live the life that you deserve!!
