After witnessing the death of a close friend, Blue decided that lifestyle was no longer for him and began to take his God given talent seriously. In 2015, Damond Blue heated up the summer with his mixtape titled Blessonz. Laced with 19 tracks, Blessonz features guest appearances from King Los, Fat Trel, Bun B, Poison Ivory, and many more.

In February, Blue released the track titled, “Give It To You,” bringing that 90’s R&B sound back to the forefront.  “Give It To You” has the “Smooth Trap” sound Damond Blue is known for, which consist of an edgy blend of R&B and Rap. Unlike most artists, Blue doesn’t box himself into a specific musical style.
