For the second year in a row the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival has proudly joined forces with global music and entertainment platform, TIDAL, which will be live­-streaming the Main Stage performances at the Finale Concert on Saturday, July 16th.
Current TIDAL subscribers will have the opportunity to win tickets to the 12th Annual Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival. In addition, TIDAL subscribers will also be granted expedited entry into the Finale Concert on July 16th and special access to the TIDAL Lounge at St. Ann’s Warehouse.  All ticket holders will have access to a complimentary three­ month subscription.
The Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival is proud to have TIDAL back so that together they can continue offering our Festival goers the Hip-­Hop cultural experience of a lifetime.

The Hip­-Hop Institute – July 13th
10am ­- 4pm ­- This year more than ever we are promoting the Festival as a cultural experience to highlight the many aspects that make up Hip­-Hop. The Hip­-Hop Institute will focus on the continued cultivation of the educational aspect of Hip­-Hop. Through a series of panels and discussions hosted by political figures, educators and journalists, who are well versed in the Hip­-Hop culture, entrepreneurship and matters of social justice, The Hip-Hop Institute is designed to drive the educational and positive aspects of the culture throughout the community so that it can serve as a global inspiration.

Dummy Clap Film Festival ­- July 14th
12pm – 7pm ­- A celebration of Hip­-Hop as told through the moving image. There will be screenings of documentaries, old school films, and shorts followed by discussions with leading film industry people who will discuss the social and cultural relevance of these films. There will also be Masters Classes held from leading filmmakers both indie and major.

Juice Hip­-Hop Exhibition – July 15th
7pm – 11pm – This exhibition takes it back to the old school way of celebrating the Hip­-Hop culture with young emerging Hip­-Hop talents, uniting all the elements of the culture for one night for one huge jam session the day before the Finale Concert. This is where the elements of art, photography, dance, DJing and MCing are each highlighted through talents from the East Coast, Midwest and the South, who each bring their individual flavor while showing their love for the the Hip­-Hop culture.

The Finale Concert – July 16th
1pm – 8pm – And finally the créme de la créme of NYC Hip­-Hop concerts, The Finale Concert. This is where you will witness one of our Festival’s hottest and most historical lineups rock out. This is the culmination of the Festival and is the legendary show that has created unforgettable memories for over a decade.
Featuring: Nas, Fabolous, Talib Kweli, Rapsody, DJ Rob Swift and more. Hosted by Uncle Ralph McDaniels and Torae.

1pm – 4pm – A stage set for the next wave of talented artists who will be bringing some neo­-soul flavor to the Festival.
